Description
This OS is a modified Windows 10 20H2 ISO. It's made to boost performance in gaming. It removes a LOT of bloat, modifies the default wallpaper, modifies the color scheme and adds an "Extras" folder with:
- an "1. Install Software" directory with:
- an "Install Browser via Script.bat", which is a GUI made to install some browsers;
- an "Install Driver Software via Script.bat", which is a GUI made to install drivers;
- an "Install Scoop (must do for Software Scripts).bat", which just installs Scoop;
- a "Links" directory with links for a LOT of software, and a registry key that modifies the 7-Zip context menu entries.
- a "2. Install Drivers", with:
- links for drivers for AMD/NVIDIA GPUs,
- NVCleanInstall (lightweight NVIDIA drivers installer)
- A link for a driver installer called "Snappy Driver Installer"
- A "3. Configuration" folder with a LOT of registry tweaks;
- A "4. Advanced Configuration" with several other registry tweaks;
- An "Optional Tweaks" with even more optional registry files
- A "Troubleshooting" directory with several troubleshooting-related scripts
- An "Utilities" folder, with:
- A "DiskQueues" folder
- A link to the Atlas OS "Game Util" tool
- Links to the Atlas Discord, documentation, known issues and... wallpapers.
After the OOBE completes the OS will run a script that:
- Will set a lot of Windows effects for performance
- Modify the Start Menu layout
- Reboot the OS
It's partly unattended.
