Ghost Windows ME is a Windows ME bootleg, which was created by Karon Teng. It released in August 30, 2000 and was added to the archive on October 1, 2025.

It's one of the oldest Windows bootlegs released at that time.

Description

This bootleg is a modified Windows ME ISO, it comes with programs, otherwise, it's stock. It's known about it's release date, at that time before releasing the OS to the public for few days, though it was available as an OEM release back then.

On the first boot of the OS, it starts installing all drivers from the machine.

This bootleg is packaged using Norton Ghost 6.01, so the following image can install using the said version as it only installs through a FAT16 partition as it's in FAT16, otherwise, it still has the Windows ME installation files on the CD root.

There's another ghost image file named "Fuke", which it has MS-DOS 6.22 (actually) with Norton Ghost 5.01 included there.
There's a readme text file on the CD, which shows you the information about this bootleg, the CD root and softwares that came with.

The CD's volume label is set to "GHOST_ME".
The full name and organization name are set to "Karon" and "Newyes" respectively.
