Windows 7 Alienware 2010 is a bootleg Windows 7 Ultimate RTM version made for Rockers International Team by Benjamin Samson. It released on May 30, 2010. It's an updated version of Windows Vista Alienware 2010.

Description

This bootleg is a modified Windows 7 RTM ISO. It's themed after Alienware. It adds 36 new themes, 128 gadgets, new icons and some new login graphics.

After the OOBE completes, the OS will install several applications.

The OS is partly unattended. It also comes with its own autorun.

This bootleg was made using RT 7 Lite.

Changes from Windows 7 RTM

Minor changes

• OEM branding is included.
• The Control Panel view is set to Large Icons.
• Hidden files are now visible.

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

• New setup graphics: the background was changed to an Alienware background and the window is now semi-transparent.
• Some setup strings have been changed.
  • "Setup is starting" was changed to "Alienware setup is starting"
  • "Copying Windows Files" was changed to "Copying Alienwware Files"
  • "Installing Features" was changed to "Installing Alienware Features"
  • "Installing Updates" was changed to "Installing Alienware Updates"
  • "Finishing Installation" was changed to "Finishing Alienware Installation"
• New pre-OOBE graphics

Notes

Bootleg quirks

• On the desktop there are links to the Rockers Team's website, their VIP downloads and to the RT Web Design Studio.
• The autorun plays music.
• The theme will not apply properly in several applications, like Notepad.
• The "Verdesh SteelFlash" will not apply.
