Windows 7 Android N Edition 2016 is a bootleg Windows 7 SP1 version, which was made by Freeware Sys. It released on June 18, 2016.
Description
This OS is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It's themed after Android N which was still in beta when this bootleg was released. It has an x86 and x64 version, which differ slightly. It adds several themes, icons and some software using a WPI.
After the OOBE completes the OS will
- modify the boot screen
- start the WPI
- set a timer to reboot the OS after 2 minutes
It's unattended and comes with its own autorun.
The autorun was made using Autoplay Media Studio.
Changes from Windows 7 SP1
Minor changes
- OEM branding is included.
Changes in pre-desktop procedures
- New setup graphics: the background has been changed and the setup window has been modified to be completely transparent. Also the buttons have been modified.
Look and feel
- New default theme
- 6 new themes included (3 of them are broken; 2 share the same msstyle)
- New icon pack
- New boot screen
- New startup sound4
Differences between the x86 and x64 version
- The default wallpaper is different between the 2 versions: the x86 version has a phone with the Android N easter egg while the x64 version has a wallpaper from Android N.
- The themes are different. In particular, the x86 version does not have all the "Starcraft" themes and the "Skyrim" theme while the x64 version does not have the "Android" theme, "Android by Freeware Sys" and "Android 2 by Freeware Sys" themes.
- In the x64 versiom, the task pane is the default one while the x86 version has a modified one.
