Windows 7 Evolution SP1 x64 Edition is a bootleg Windows 7 SP1 edition, which was created by IiTz ShAnE of Tweakscene. It released on January 17, 2013 (was worked on since December 2012), and was added to the archive on April 6, 2024.
This mod has been tampered with. There is an arbitrary "Programs" folder on the CD that was added on January 28, 2017.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It is lightly customized, with just one theme, a wallpaper, a few programs and some visual changes. It comes with registry tweaks.
On first boot, a dialog box will show up which tells you to wait while important chages (sic) are being made to the system. In the background, the following will happen:
- Apply the new boot screen with Windows 7 Boot Updater
- Delete the first boot startup script that showed the dialog box in the first place
- Define a CDROM variable, and never use it
- Install WinRAR and Kel's Runtime Pack
- Apply registry tweaks
- Sleep for 100 seconds
- Try to delete the tweaks file and the programs but fail, because there was a typo in the WINDIR variable (WINRIR).
- Reboot.
It is unattended and preactivated. The ISO was made using RT 7 Lite beta 2.6.0 on December 26, 2012.
