Windows 7 Fantastic 4 Edition (also known as Windows Fantastic 4) is a bootleg Windows 7 SP1 edition, which was created by Nasir Mehmood and Rashid Khan of Computer Kings Corporation. It released on August 31, 2015, and was added to the archive on April 6, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It is mainly themed after some "Action" movies, it comes with many softwares, themes including themepacks as they're related to that and few updates.

At the end of the OOBE stage, it starts installing a software and it applies the included custom boot screen after that.

On the first boot of the OS, it launches the WPI as it installs the included software that wame with.

It is unattended, but not preactivated, and it was made using WinToolkit 1.5.3.9.

Changes from Windows 7 RTM

Minor changes

  • The boot CD message is changed to "Press any key to boot Fantastic4 CD..."
  • OEM information is included
  • New desktop context menu entries, as it includes a banner that is applied to that:
    • Add/Remove Programs
    • Administrative Tools
    • Change Internet Options
    • Change Theme
    • Change Wallpaper
    • Computer Kings (goes to their defuct website)
    • Control Panel
    • Desktop Icons Settings
    • Device Manager
    • Facebook (goes to their Facebook page)
    • Task Manager
  • The banner that it's on the left side of the window is updated.

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

  • New setup graphics. The setup window background is changed, some things have been changed here and there
  • New boot screen. The boot screen is already applied in Setup, but it has to be applied manually in the OS itself
  • New pre-OOBE graphics
  • New OOBE graphics
  • New login graphics.

Look and feel

  • New default theme, and wallpaper. The glass color is changed to the default glass color "Sun". All of the regional themes are included
  • New icon set
  • New cursor sets
  • New avatar set
  • New sound scheme.

Software

Same softwares are included in the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Avengers Edition 2015.

Notes

Remarks

  • This bootleg is forked from the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Avengers Edition 2015 because of its preloaded softwares which are the same set with their versions and some themes included, hence it's also themed after the Avengers Edition.

Bootleg quirks

  • In Setup, many special symbols do not render correctly and check boxes look rather strange.
  • The bootleg's install.wim file was applied in September 29, 2013, but this bootleg is finished in August 31, 2015, so this was made progress for about 2 years at that time.
  • Apperently, some programs that they're installed are hidden, so you need to go to C:\Program Files directory to locate in order to launch them.
  • After editing the boot screen, a small window will popup with some typo of the word, as it says "CK-7 Booyscreen was successfully installed".
  • In Computer's context menu, Device Manager entry is duplicated as it means the second one wrote as "Device Manger", otherwise both will run the Device Manager.
  • If the internet is connected with this mod, IOBit Uninstaller will update automatically.

  • The CD label is set to Windows Fantastic 4 By CK TEAM.

  • The default network location is set to Home.
  • The timezone is set to India Standard Time.
