Windows 8.1 Luxury x64 is a bootleg Windows 8.1 version made for TeamOS by The Rain. It released on August 15, 2016 and was added to the archive on February 10, 2025.
Description
This bootleg is a modified Windows 8.1 ISO. It adds a new blue theme, new blue icons, some software and not much else. This ISO is relatively tame compared to other The Rain bootlegs.
After the install is done, the OS will run a script (SetupComplete.cmd) that will
- Run the KMSPico installer and activate the OS
- Merge theRunOnce.reg registry key, which will modify KMSPico settings
- Run another script (clean.bat) that will
- Remove the %windir%\setup\scripts folder
- Remove the %windir%\setup\scripts folder (again, this time with RD)
- Set a timer to reboot the OS in 120 seconds
This ISO is unattended and pre-activated with KMSPico.
Changes from Windows 8.1
Look and feel
- The branding in System Properties was changed.
- The OS branding was changed to "Windows 8.1 Luxury"
- New icons
- 4 new themes were included.
- 1 new wallpaper was added.
