Windows Alienware XP 2009 (Also known as Windows Alienware Edition as mentioned in the setup) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by an unknown author. It was released on December 29, 2009, and was added to the archive on February 20, 2025.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It comes with programs, themes, wallpapers, updates, a new default theme and cursor set. It is themed after Alienware.

On the first boot on the OS, it deletes the "Alienware" user account and restarts the computer after 15 seconds.

It is unattended and preactivated. It was made using nLite.

Notes

Bootleg quirks

The setup stage statuses on the left have been changed to humorous lines like "Losing Information" and "Hosing Hard Disk".
The font that's used in the "About Windows" Dialog is the System font as the window is larger than the default font, Tahoma, also, all the text strings are changed to Windows Vista ones.
The System Properties dialog was replaced with the Windows Vista clone version.
During software installation, "BitTorrent 6.3" is repeated twice on the image.
