Windows Crystal XP V2 (also known as Windows crystal Xp 2007) is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created by Pepsi Labeb. It was released on December 17, 2006, and was added to the archive on August 9, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 ISO. It adds many new programs using WPI which plays Quran during installation, themes and wallpapers, new icons and updates, and more. It comes with its own autorun.

It is unattended and preactivated. The bootleg was made using nLite and Windows Unattended CD Creator. The Boot selector was made using Easyboot.

By the grace of God Almighty, I have finished preparing the second version of Windows Crystal XP after the first version received great admiration, despite some minor bugs.
This was enabled and by the grace of God. In this version, I have tried to address these bugs and provide better performance and stability for Windows. If you would like to specify some modifications in points, the wonderful and  well-known maintenance CD, Hiren Boot v8.6, has been added to the boot options menu. Windows startup and shutdown have now been significantly faster, and you will also feel the difference in speed when interacting with Windows,  whether browsing your files or running programs. I have made Windows treat programs as services that run alongside Windows. This will result in faster programs and easier operation.
Some small tools have also been added to your Control Panel, such as Tweak UI, Safe XP, Boot Safe, and CPU-Z. This gives you complete control over the appearance and performance of your Windows and provides you with all the  information about your processor.
All the updates and security patches recently released by Microsoft have been added, which of course causes... Updating the kernel, or the system kernel itself, ensures better performance and greater security.
The look and feel of Windows has been completely changed with the addition of new icons, wallpapers, a login screen, and a boot screen. An excellent collection of carefully selected themes has also been added.
As usual, I didn't want Windows to resemble Vista, but it has a unique and distinctive character that you will, God willing, like.
Many useful programs have been integrated into recent versions, and I've made a large portion of them optional so that the user can choose the programs they want and uninstall those they don't want.
The good thing is that even if you select all the programs for installation, Windows and the programs will only take up less than 2 GB of their allocated partition space.
Annoying error messages have been removed.
It's now possible to change or delete some system files without receiving messages telling you that what you did could cost your life or result in you being hanged by your feet.
Some languages ​​have been retained, such as Hebrew, which some Palestinian brothers asked me to keep. However, no keyboards have been removed, so technically, no language has been removed.
Some commands have been added. Registry tweaks help speed up the system and protect it from spying.
Some unwanted Windows components have been removed, but they do not affect system performance in any way. On the contrary, removing them may contribute to freeing up more virtual memory space for the system, thus increasing its  speed.
26 beautiful Flash games have been added to replace the ineffective Windows games that were removed.
The word "speed" was repeated frequently in my comments, and indeed, this was my main concern while modifying the version, so that it would be compatible with any device, even a Pentium 2 with modest capabilities.
As for the aesthetic appearance, I did not use any software to improve the appearance of the version, as most of these programs have specific requirements for the device they run on. Instead, I relied on modifying the appearance   of the system files themselves, which makes this version work on any device without any problems or special requirements.

Bootleg quirks

  • K-lite codec pack is supposed to install but the installation file is corrupted.
  • The internet homepage is set to "www.islamway.com"
  • The time zone is set to Egyptian Daylight Time zone (GMT +02:00).
  • The Command Prompt foreground and background colors have been set to purple on Dark blue.
  • The title of Internet Explorer is changed to "pepsi_labeb Internet Explorer".
  • The title of Run dialog is changed to ":: بسم الله الرحمان الرحیم ::"
