Windows Galaxy Smart XP is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Mohamed Kamel. It released on September 25, 2014, and was added to the archive on November 15, 2023.

This bootleg is known to be the successor of Windows Galaxy XP 2013.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, it's themes to have the SuperMan branding, with Windows XP Post-SP3 Update Pack (QFE) version 20130312, and OnePiece IE8 Update Pack 4.2.0 integrated.

It has over 15 themes, 30 wallpapers, 8 new screensavers, many customization utilities and several programs for you to use, which is on a WPI which you can access either on the first boot, or from the CD itself, along with a specialized software collection filled with useful tools.

Many parts of the OS has been modified with a completely new look and the setup graphics are changed to remove the progrss bar from the previous one along with many previews of the bootleg's various themes and detailed descriptions in Arabic of the bootleg's quirks and features.

On the first boot of the OS, it starts installing more preloaded softwares, themes, and wallpapers, followed by asking you to install driverpacks or not, then it will do final touches, and finally, you will be presented with the information about the author before booting to the desktop.

It comes with both a custom boot selector which lets you choose to either install the OS or boot an extremely primitive version of Hiren's Boot CD, and a custom autorun which lets you either launch a driver installer, or the WPI.

It is unattended, thanks to Windows Unattended CD Creator being used, and preactivated. The bootleg was made using nLite and Windows Unattended CD Creator 0.9.8, the autorun was made with AutoPlay Media Studio and the boot selector used was EasyBoot 5.1.0.565.

Changes from Windows XP SP3

Minor changes

• The text-mode setup OS text is changed to "Galaxy Smart Setup".
• The System Properties Control Panel is replaced a Windows Vista clone one
• The Run dialog has been updated
• The "My Computer" name is changed to "Galaxy Home", though the rest did remove the "My" word.
• New context menus added in My Computer.
