Windows XP 51Lite (version 3.3) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Darqious. It was released on December 31, 2013, and was added to the archive on December 28, 2024.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO which it's a stripped down Windows XP ISO, almost all components are removed from the OS. It comes with an update pack, a new default theme and cursor set.
It also comes with it's own command-based download center (the website is defunct though) and tons of service settings (command files) from where you can turn the service on or off, including the low memory mode setting.
It is unattended and preactivated. It was made using nLite 1.4.9.3.
Changes from Windows XP SP3
Minor changes
- The login screen is set to classic by default
- The recycle bin is hidden from the desktop by default, and instead, it's added to "My Computer"
- New winver banner
- The command prompt's font is changed to Lucida Console.
