Windows XP 7 Ultimate is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Husseineg1. It was released on April 13, 2011, and was added to the archive on July 25, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It's themed after Windows 7 Beta, it has many islamic content, It comes with programs, wallpapers, screen savers, a new default theme, wallpaper and cursor set, otherwise it's stock.

It comes with it's own boot selector, through it, you can install this mod or access a modified copy of Mini Windows XP along with other tools:

DOS with SmartDrv

It is partially unattended and preactivated, it was made using nLite 1.4.9.1.

Notes

Bootleg quirks

There are 2 folders on the desktop. The first one is named "FOR DESKTOP", which has 3 MayHill Movies background executables to be used as desktop wallpapers, like Windows DreamScene, while the second one is named "ISLAMIC PRO", which contains Islamic-related software.
There's a video file on the desktop named "AL TAWBA", which shows you an islamic TV program from the egyptian channel, Al Nas.
An HTML ReadME file's shortcut is present on the desktop, which it contains the information about the bootleg and the author itself.
An Islamic utility called "SERAH" is missing on this mod and can't be found.
The start menu button's name is changed to "بسم", including the Allah name's branding, which is very interesting.

CD contents and other info

There is a Photodex Presenter video executable named "MY VIDEO" in the <cdroot>\PRO directory, which shows you the wallpepers included with this bootleg.
The stock Windows XP Setup's autorun CD is present, while there's a custom autorun that is set by default.
The autorun plays music.
The CD root has a custom icon.
The CD label is set to WINDOWS XP 7 ULTIMATE.

WINNT.SIF metadata

The full name and organization name are both set to "Hussein" and "Husseineg1"
