Windows XP Astral 1.1.9 (a.k.a Astral Project 1.1.9) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by an unknown author. It was released on October 10, 2010, and was added to the archive on February 18, 2025.
Description
The bootleg is a stripped down Windows XP SP3 ISO.
It is unattended and preactivated. It was made using nLite.
Changes from Windows XP SP3
Minor changes
- Most of Windows programs are removed. Such as Paint and WordPad.
- Explorer toolbar icons are small now
- Control panel items will now appear as menu in start menu
- Hidden files and folders are now visible
- Logoff dialog has been reverted to the classic one.
- Audio drivers and Ethernet drivers are removed, and you will have to install them manually.

- OOBE is entirely skipped

Bootleg quirks
- The time zone is set to Moscow, Russia (GMT +03:00)
- Taskbar is unlocked by default.
- The default page in Internet explorer is blank.
