Windows XP Atom (a.k.a Windows XP 2010 Atom) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by exPress. It released on August 19, 2010, and was added to the archive on February 18, 2025.
Description
This bootleg is a stripped down vista-themed Windows XP SP3 ISO.
It is unattended & preactivated. It was made using nLite.
Changes from Windows XP SP3
Minor changes
- All of the Windows programs have been removed, except Notepad and CMD.
- Most of drivers such as VGA, sound and network drivers have been removed.
- OEM branding is included.
Changes in pre-desktop procedures
- The OOBE is entirely skipped
- The setup uses Windows 2000 style.
- New login graphics

- New Aero cursor set
Notes
Bootleg quirks
- The "Варез портал!" shortcut (et.clan.su website) on desktop won't open because there is no browser to open the website with.
WINNT.SIF metadata
- The full name and organization is set to "User" and "Home".
- The computer name is set to "pc_2010".
- The workgroup name is set to "WORKGROUP".
