Windows XP Coccinelle Edition 2.0 Chrysalide is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created as part of the Coccinelle Edition series by Coccinelle of Fredisland.net. It released on December 31, 2005, and was added to the archive on July 25, 2024.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 ISO. It's the successor of the Windows XP Coccinelle Edition 1.0 released after 2 months and 15 days, it adds more softwares along with tons of tools that are added to the start menu, updates, themes and wallpapers, it has more enhancements than the previous version, and comes with a new icon set.
On the first boot of the OS, the bootleg will install more softwares, then a full-screen window will prompt that it will reboot after a minute, then a software selector will prompt that allows you to choose which tool to install, then a yet another rebooting time will pop up after around 65 seconds while a music plays on the background this time, after rebooting, a welcome screen will prompt that the desktop icons will be set to the central top face then an animated bootleg name will be shown above a 3rd party status bar.
It is preactivated, it was made using nLite.
