Windows XP PRP Lite is a bootleg Windows XP RTM edition which was created by Windoze. It released on October 29, 2005, and was added to the archive on April 26, 2024.

This bootleg is known to be the earliest Windows XP RTM bootleg available in the archive.

Description

The bootleg is a stripped down Windows XP Corporate Edition RTM ISO.

Unlike TinyXP, there is nothing wrong with the network drivers, but since Windows XP RTM has security vulnerabilities, it is not recommended to connect it to the internet.

It is unattended and preactivated. The ISO was made using nLite 1.0 RC1 on Windows XP RTM.

Minor changes

Most of components are removed, such as:
- Accessibility Options
- Calculator
- Defragmenter
- NT Backup
- Luna theme
- Paint
- Wordpad
- DirectX Diagnostic Tool
- Outlook Express
- TCP/IP Version 6
The following languages have been removed:
- English (Australia)
- English (Canada)
- English (New Zealand)

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

The setup now uses the Windows 2000 style
The OOBE is entirely skipped

The CD root contains three images of the cover and a text file with a product key. the files are dated September 11, 2001.
The CD label is set to "Xtreme"
