Windows XP SP3 Starter Edition Y1.0 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by YLMF. It released on November 26, 2008, and was added to the archive on September 10, 2022.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 distribution which is contained in the Ghost image format.

This bootleg looks nearly identical to Windows XP SP3 Compact Edition.

It comes with a boot selector integrated which allows you to install the mod with the included Ghost 11.0.2 tool. Alongside that, you can also:

  • Boot the included WinPE
  • Backup or restore a partition in Ghost
  • Run the YLMF DOS Toolbox
  • Run Partition Magic 8.05
  • Run Disk Manager 9.57
  • Run NTFS for DOS 4.0
  • Boot from hard drive
  • Restart the computer

It also comes with its own autorun. Through that, you can:

  • Install Ghost XP SP3 to drive C:
  • Back up system drivers
  • View documentation
  • Visit the official forum
  • Browse the disc
  • Exit the autorun

It is preactivated. The autorun was made with AutoPlay Menu Builder 5.1.0.341, and the boot selector used was EasyBoot 5.1.
