Windows XP Vortex 3G Red Edition is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition created by arabessam, which released in December 22nd, 2013 and added to the archive on December 12th, 2021.
The branding of "Windows XP" and "Windows Vista" is very inconsistent in the OS, but winver implies it's based off Windows XP SP3.
Changes from Windows XP SP3
- The setup has been heavily modified and replaced with a custom setup engine, complete with animations and a slideshow with Quran verses which also silently installs programs in the background
- The setup is unattended and does not require user input
- The theme is styled after the official ProjectRED Windows Vista theme. A lot of the wallpapers and gadgets are sourced from official ProjectRED Vista promotions.
- The start menu is changed to look like Vista
