Windows XP NASA Second Generation 2010 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Fares Adham. It released on October 10, 2009 @ 17:03:29, and was added to the archive on February 7, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It comes with many new programs and themes and wallpapers. It has software that drops to the user profile directory which you have to install manually.

The ISO was made using nLite 1.3.5 on Windows XP SP3. The ISO was touched up with UltraISO 9.0.0.2336.

You are expected to install the extra programs to paths which are not made entirely clear. Only in the registry files are you given exactly what paths to use.
TrueTransparency comes with a modified copy of exclude.dat, with extra entries that are not present in the final file.
The IconPackager/Explorer crack was made by Orthodox, and the music is a tracker song called "Industrial motherf.".
The included test song in J.River Media Center is called "Fares Alhamy" or "فارس احلامى" in Arabic.
The Normal Select and Help Select cursors are set to their stock Windows Default Black variant, while all the other cursors are Ubuntu themed.
There are 139 unused wallpapers in the wallpaper's thumbnail cache.
