Windows 2002 is a bootleg of Windows XP RTM, which was created by miyako. It released on January 20, 2020 and was added to the archive on February 13, 2022. It has 2 revisions which are available in the archive. Currently, only the first revision is covered, but the second may be covered in the future.
Description
Much like Windows 2007, it is designed as a visual mod to mimic Beta versions of XP. Most audio-visual aspects have been changed including replacing the themes and sound schemes. The autorun has been given a redesign.
Since this mod is based on RTM, it has numerous security vulnerabilities and is ill-advised to connect to the internet.
Changes from Windows XP RTM
Changes in pre-desktop procedures
- Pre-installation environment, winver, logon UI, etc. have been changed to reflect the new branding
- OOBE has been updated
Look and feel
- New default wallpaper
- 2 new themes, Watercolor and Luna; both are from different stages of the XP Beta
- Beta icons added (i.e. the Recycle Bin, which now has handles)
- New sound scheme, the producer is currently unknown.

Remarks
- This ISO requires a Volume License product key which is not included in
I386\UNATTEND.TXT, although any VOL key will work.
