Windows Visual English (otherwise known as Windows Visual) is a bootleg Windows 3.1 edition, which was created by MasterGonzalo. It was released in October 2019, and was added to the archive on December 12, 2021.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 3.1 distribution which is packaged in the PowerQuest image format, which has to be restored in the Caldera PowerQuest utility which is on the CD itself. The disk image itself is dated as 2019, which is where the release date comes from.
The purpose of this bootleg is to make Windows more accessible and easier to use, as seen in the new shell, written in Visual Basic 4.
