Windows Doble V is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Chama. It released on January 16, 2011, and was added to the archive on May 21, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPack integrated. It themes the OS with Windows 7 elements, and adds some programs, and updates some of the UI a bit.

The ISO was made using nLite, and the autorun was made using AutoPlay Media Studio 8.0.1.0.

Minor changes

OEM branding is included, along with Support Information
The System Properties dialog has been redesigned
The Support Information dialog now has a banner
New Winver banner, the bar has been removed and the banner has been extended down to where it used to be

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

New setup graphics, which is reminiscent of the Windows 7 setup
New boot screen
New login graphics

New default theme, and wallpaper
13 new themes included
9 new wallpapers included
4 new Windows 7 screensavers included
New icon set
New cursor set, taken from the Crystalline theme
New Samsung sound scheme, which is from the Royale Remixed theme. Some sounds are from Windows 7

New avatar set, which mostly consists of Windows Vista and 7 ones. The default avatar is from neither OS
