Windows Byte XP Gamer Edition (Version 3.0) is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created by Byte. It was released on May 27, 2007, and was added to the archive on May 22, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 ISO. It comes with programs, screen savers, wallpapers, and a new default theme.

It is unattended and preactivated. It was made using nLite 1.3 on Windows XP Professional SP2

Changes from Windows XP SP2

Minor changes

  • The System Properties' banner is included, along with Support Information, which shows you the developer's name, his website, the version and his Hotmail account.
  • The classic login screen was set by default

  • New setup graphics.
  • The OOBE is skipped by default
  • New login graphics.

  • New default theme
  • 4 wallpapers included. All of the original wallpapers are removed.
