This article is about a modification of Windows 2000. Not to be confused with the actual Windows beta.
Windows Neptune is a bootleg Windows 2000 SP4 edition, which was created by Knabe91. It released in March 2014, and was added to the archive on March 2, 2023.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 2000 SP4 ISO which themes the OS after the origin OS's beta, Windows Neptune, along with some portions of Windows ME, and does it rather well.
Many programs and features from Neptune and Windows ME added, such as the Activity Centers (although in a partially working state as the Game Center crashes), Windows ME's Movie Maker and Neptune's login screen.
Changes from Windows 2000 SP4
