Deepin XP is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created by Deepin. It released on February 18, 2007 and was added to the archive in September 1, 2022.
Description
This ISO is a stripped down Windows XP SP2 ISO, with many of the original programs and drivers removed. Other than this, the OS remains mostly stock.
Like other bootlegs made by Deepin, it comes with a boot selector, which contains the installer and a modified MS-DOS boot disk which contains several tools, such as Symantec Ghost 8.3, PartitionMagic, AEFDSK, etc.
On the first boot of the OS, it runs the Deepin XP System Optimization Tool, which allows the user to quickly set registry keys and add various tweaks to the operating system.
It is unattended and preactivated.
Notes
- Although the boot screen gives a February 18 release, the ISO was technically built/finished on February 17 at 23:59 (11:59 PM).
