Windows ME Year of Luigi is a bootleg based on Windows ME which is packaged in the Ghost image format, which has to be restored through a separate [[:Category:Bootlegs which install via backup software|Norton Ghost]] utility. The OS itself was created for and named after the "[https://www.mariowiki.com/The_Year_of_Luigi Year of Luigi]" event, which was created by Nintendo to celebrate Luigi's 30th anniversary. As a result, the OS has been changed around to be more "Luigi" themed as well as including additional software. ▼
Because it is restored via Norton Ghost, there is no installation process.
