SuricataOS (otherwise known by its ISO name as Windows XP Ligero) is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition created by SuriSoft released in December 2006 and added to the archive on March 18th, 2022.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 ISO which comes with many themes and wallpapers. It comes with a WPI with many programs and games on it along with a custom-made PortableApps.com package and even a Windows Vista transformation pack. It is unattended and preactivated.
Changes from Windows XP SP2
- The setup has been recolored to be gray, along with the radio boxes and progress bar
- New Aero cursor set, which has been recolored to black
- 7 new themes added
- New default wallpaper
- The Japanese system language has been added to the OS, therefore making this OS partially in Japanese
