Template:Screenshot = XP Conan XP Desktop.png Windows Conan XP is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by EVO K410i CFW. It released on January 31, 2022, and was added to the archive on February 4, 2022.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, which adds some programs, updates and some themes. It is themed after the Detective Conan manga, particularly the Syrian variant, Conan Idojawa, on the Syrian Spacetoons channel.

On the first boot of the OS, a batch script will run which will automatically install all of the included software.

It is preactivated and unattended. It was made using nLite.

Changes from Windows XP SP3

Minor changes

OEM branding is included, along with Support Information
The Run dialog now has extra text added, along with a date dropdown. The OK button is now a giant button placed in the middle, and is now labeled "Launch Conan Idojawa Command".

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

New setup graphics, styled after the Windows 8 setup. It uses Small Fonts at a tiny size, which is an unusual choice of font
New boot screen
New login graphics. The font is now set to Times New Roman

New default theme, and wallpaper
The start menu style uses the classic one by default

Notes

Bootleg quirks

In the aforementioned batch script, after the software is finished installing, there are multiple pages of text you have to go through just to close the Setup window. Not to mention it doesn't even delete itself after installing, so you have to manually delete it yourself.
This bootleg is known to be very unstable. It frequently crashes, and most importantly, it crashes frequently.
Internet Explorer 8 does not work.
