WindowsMX 8.1 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created for the WindowsMX forums by MalcolmX. It released on July 6, 2009 @ 17:14:57 and was added to the archive on May 24, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It comes with some new themes, wallpapers, and programs. It comes with registry tweaks. It is unattended and preactivated.

On the first boot of the OS, you are prompted to make your own account, with a username and password.

The bootleg was made using nLite.
