Windows XP Genius Edition 2010 is a Windows bootleg edition created by Genius Team released in 2010. It is most known for being featured on AmpDan1 as a 5-part series showcasing the bootleg itself. You can find a link to a reupload of the first part here, along with parts 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Description

Like many other Windows bootlegs, this one is designed to look like Windows 7 with Aero elements which comes with most of the common utilities to give the system a Windows 7 look. The creators of the bootleg do not seem to be very proficient in English as it is riddled with many spelling errors, the box art being no exception.

Changes from Windows XP

  • The text mode setup's OS text has been changed to be the name of the OS
  • The setup graphics now has a completely new look, with 9 new billboards with "well-written" descriptions of what the OS is and what it has and Windows 7-like graphics. It also introduces the now infamous tagline, which is simply titled "The Next Generation Of Technologey"
  • The setup is unattended and preactivated
  • The OOBE video has been changed to be reminiscent of the animated Windows 7 startup
  • The OOBE now also has a new Windows 7 style look. Nothing much is different from stock OOBE
  • New boot screen
  • The log in screen now has a Longhorn look
  • All new themes, wallpapers, icons, cursors and sound scheme
