Bob Pony OS Beta 1 is a Windows bootleg edition created by Bob Pony released in 2016 and added to the archive on December 2021.
Description
The mod is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. There were multiple betas of this bootleg released, the other being Bob Pony OS Beta 2 which is based on Windows 7 instead of Windows XP. There was a third beta but was never released, but it is rumored to exist. This bootleg is broken due to LogonUI being broken and .NET not being slipstreamed in and having to be manually installed from Safe Mode.
Changes from Windows XP
- Bob Pony branding has been added
- A new .NET shell
- The setup style is changed to the older Windows 2000 setup
- A Zune theme is included, which will immediately fail upon attempting to copy
