Ubuntu Professional XP is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by an unknown author. It released in December 2009 and was added to the archive on April 15th, 2023.

Description

This bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It themes the system to look like Ubuntu, hence the name.

Changes from Windows XP SP3

  • The setup has been updated. The billboard texts are stock, however all instances of "Windows XP" have been replaced with "Ubuntu".
  • Several icons have been updated to their Human (an Ubuntu theme in the 4.10-9.10 era) counterparts.
  • The theme has been updated to an Ubuntu dark theme.
  • The login screen has been updated.
  • Several new programs have been added.
  • One new theme has been added. ONE!
  • New entries have been added to My Computer, which lead to control panel items.
  • The start button text on the Windows XP theme has been changed to "Applications", and the wallpaper has been changed.
