Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It is styled after the Marvel superheroes Batman and Superman. It comes with its own WPI. The OS comes with 2 ways to preactivate itself. One will happen during the OOBE finalization portion, using the key relevant to your OEM. Another is running Windows Loader 2.1.7 on the first boot.

On the first boot of the OS, a batch script will get ran, which will install all of the included software.

The ISO was made using WinToolkit.

Changes from Windows 7 SP1

  • New setup graphics. The Setup window is completely transparent. The Back button is replaced with the Macintosh "Maximize" window button, and the X button is replaced with a very small red X in a weird place
  • New boot screen, which gets applied during the first boot
  • New pre-OOBE graphics. The pre-OOBE loading bar is animated with a rainbow effect
  • New login graphics
  • New default theme, and wallpaper
  • New Superman cursor set
  • The Start orb, user and libraries icons are replaced

Software

  • 7-Zip 9.20
  • CCleaner
  • Mozilla Firefox 34.0 beta 9
  • PowerISO
  • TeamViewer 9
  • uTorrent 3.4.2 build 36044
  • VLC Media Player 2.1.5
  • WinRAR (cracked, comes with 5 new themes)

Notes

  • In Setup, many special symbols do not render correctly and check boxes look rather strange. The former is due to Marlett, a system font needed for various system symbols not loading in properly, and the latter may be due to a theme issue.
  • During the OOBE portion, the dialog is rendered in Classic mode, probably due to DWM breaking.
  • If you are using VMware, the preactivator will use an Acer key.
  • There is leftover information for WinToolkit addons, notably information for the program "MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition".
  • The full name and organization is set to "RASHID" and "CM.TEAM" respectively.
  • The computer name is set to "RASHID".
