Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It is themed after Project(RED) Windows Vista, like Windows XP Vortex 3G Red Edition, but not nearly as interesting. It includes some themes, along with a WPI with many programs included. Parts of the setup are unattended.

Changes from Windows 7 SP1

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

  • New setup graphics including the aforementioned red style (in this case, (Product) RED is used as the background) added. The setup window has been made nearly transparent, and some of the icons are replaced. Windows 8.1's setup engine is used in place of the original one, which explains the Windows 8.1 boot screen you get when you first boot the bootleg
  • New boot screen included, thanks to a script that automatically gets executed on first boot that applies the boot skin (like in Freeware Sys's other bootlegs)
  • New pre-OOBE graphics
  • The OOBE banner is replaced with the bootleg's name
  • New login graphics. The "Welcome" text has been blanked out

Look and feel

  • New default theme, and wallpaper
  • 5 new themes
  • 7 new wallpapers included. The default wallpaper is replaced as well
  • Many of the system icons along with the Start orb have been made red
