Windows 7 Blue Alienware Edition is a bootleg Windows 7 edition made by WhiteDeath. It was release on May 26, 2013 and added to the archive on August 13, 2024.

Description

This bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It's themed after Alienware. It adds several programs and modifies the default theme. This build is partly unattended.

Changes from Windows 7 SP1

Minor changes

  • Several new context menu shortcuts have been added.
  • OEM branding has been enabled
  • Some components, like gadgets and Internet Explorer 10, have been disabled.

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

  • New setup graphics: the background has been changed to be Alienware-themed and the window is now semi-transparent.
  • Some setup strings have been changed.
  • New OOBE graphics
  • New login graphics

Look and feel

  • The default theme has been replaced with one called "alienware" (yes, all lowercase).
  • New branding
  • 15 new wallpapers have been added (only one of them was used, and it's the one from the default theme).
