Windows Dream Vista 2 is the sequel to Windows Dream Vista, which was created by the same author. It released almost a full year after, on March 23, 2013, and was added to the archive on August 9, 2022.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. It is the sequel to Windows Dream Vista. It has less Vista elements than the first one but has more variety, including different themes. The amount of customization utilities, as well as Beauty Tools, have been cut down completely. A more traditional WPI, and all of 2 customization utilities take their place.

The ISO was made using nLite, and the autorun was made with AutoPlay Media Studio.

The graphical setup and OOBE now boots into a higher resolution
Updated setup graphics. The fake setup window is now centered properly and a proper progress bar is added

Notes

The same "delete" scripts from before are present, this time some more have been added. There has been a Prefetch deleter script added, which is attributed to "WaedQossus". It also deletes the Temp directory, including Temporary Internet Files, Recent Documents and the Cookies folder.
There is a broken visual style in the style selector.
The full name and organization is both set to "Dream Vista".
The computer name is set to "DREAM_VISTA".
The workgroup is set to "DreamVista".
