User groups (also referred to as permissions, bits, or flags) change the way that certain editors perform specific actions on the wiki.

A list of every user group can be found at Special:ListGroupRights.

Users and autoconfirmed users

Users are users. Somewhat obvious.

Autoconfirmed users can edit semi-protected pages and are able to bypass ratelimits.

Administrators

Administrators (or sysops) can block and unblock users, IP addresses, and IP ranges from editing, protect pages and edit protected pages, delete and undelete pages, rename pages without restriction, along with having access to other tools.

The wiki has 10 administrators.

Interface administrators

Interface administrators can edit MediaWiki namespace pages, along with all JS/JSON/CSS files.

The wiki has 8 interface administrators.

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats can grant user groups and are responsible for promoting and demoting administrators.

The wiki has 8 bureaucrats.

Suppressor

Suppressors can hide page revisions.

The wiki has 5 suppressors.

Bots

Bots are accounts used to make automated edits that may be considered tedious to do manually.

The wiki has one bot, User:Nes, which is currently shutdown.
