Bob Pony OS Beta 1 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition created by Bob Pony, which released in 2016 and was added to the archive in December 2021.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. There were multiple betas of this bootleg released, the other being Bob Pony OS Beta 2 which is based on Windows 7 instead of Windows XP. This bootleg is broken due to LogonUI being broken and .NET not being slipstreamed in and having to be manually installed from Safe Mode.
Changes from Windows XP SP3
- Bob Pony branding has been added
- A new .NET shell
- The setup style is changed to the older Windows 2000 setup
- A Zune theme is included, which will immediately fail upon attempting to copy
