Chip Windows XP 2009 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Vasia Pupkin of ChipXP. It released on August 25, 2009.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, which comes with UpdatePack-XPSP3-Rus 9.8.18 integrated. It comes with its own boot selector. Through it, you can choose to install the OS unattended or not, Chip BootCD 1.2 (a rebranded Russian version of Hiren's Boot CD), Acronis Rescue Media 2009, and a Windows XP Live CD called WinXP RusLive 2009.07.20.

The most notable thing about this bootleg is that it has a WPI with a huge amount of programs. There are also a similar amount of wallpapers. It has some themes and screensavers too.

It comes with its own autorun. Through it, you can access Everest Ultimate Edition 5.00.1652 Beta Rus, DriverPack Solution 9 Professional, and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5. It is unattended, and preactivated. OEM branding is automatically applied depending on your processor.

The ISO was made using nLite, the autorun was made with Autorun for Windows and the boot selector used was Bootable CD Wizard v2.0a1.

The low/critical battery sounds also have text to speech in Russian in them. What it says is relatively self-explanatory, it's just warning you about your battery level
  • 28 new avatars
