During the setup finalization portion, OEM information will get set through the aforementioned registry file, the CD label will get set to "Grim.Immortality.XI" and KMS VL ALL AIO will get launched which will activate the system.

The reasoning behind his death is vague, though, as the same thread specifies "undisclosed health issues".
