PlaceholderOS is a bootleg Windows edition created by an unknown user/group, released in 1900, with it adding new placeholder content to Examplenix.

Examplenix has some other unique bootlegs as well, such as FPO 32-bit Edition.

Description

The OS is an altered Examplenix, but remains mostly stock. It only has a single theme called "Default Style" added.

Changes from Examplenix

  • The xyz wallpaper has been replaced with an 123 one.
  • The system has more placeholder strings then it's source.
  • The console colors are now white on black instead of black on white.

Notes
