Lenovo XP 7 Style is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by an unknown author. It released on December 12, 2009, and was added to the archive on January 3, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, which comes with DriverPacks 901r3 integrated. It heavily tries to emulate a Lenovo OEM installation of Windows 7. It comes with many updates integrated, and the latest root certificates of 2009. It comes with registry tweaks.

The ISO was made using nLite.

  • The setup OS text is changed
  • New setup graphics
  • New pre-OOBE graphics
  • New OOBE video
  • New login graphics
  • New default theme, and wallpaper. A new visual style named "SevenXP4" is added
  • New wallpaper set. All of the default wallpapers have been replaced
  • New sound scheme
  • New avatar set. All of the default avatars have been replaced
  • The Winver branding has been modified
  • OEM branding is included

Notes

  • The bundled registry tweaks come in a WinRAR SFX, which is disguised as an update (KB889320). It exists in both I386 and SVCPACK.

  • The OOBE is skipped.
