How to respond to bugs

Resolution Softlocks

Example: Gal-axy Xp

If the xPI requires a screen resolution that your machine is currently not, open Task Manager (CTRL-SHIFT-ESCAPE), then open an execute dialog then enter control desk.cpl,,3 and set to 1024x768.

If the problem persists, try finding the xPI and opening it (while NOT closing the original instance, which may cause a cleanup)

Article Layout

The article layout must not deviate excessively from the standard template.

Images

Final desktop images are expected to:

  1. Not obfuscate any icons in any form
  2. Have all default options from any available xPI installed
  3. Be at 1024x768, no higher, no lower

Metadata

  1. A Download Link IS REQUIRED TO be from this domain only. We may lose the install media images if we started allowing external URLs.
  2. Download Links must resolve to a valid, reasonably accessible page.

Architecture(s)

Please refrain from using x64 and use amd64 to prevent confusion.

If separate architectures are on the same install media, then list them both as such: arch = x86, amd64

If they are on different install medias entirely then make pages for each one as if they were unique and use the othervers key as such: othervers = [[NAME (amd64)|amd64]]
