Windows 8.1 AMD Evolution 2016 is a Windows bootleg edition created by Reckons International Team released in 2016 and added to the archive on December 29th, 2021.
Description
This bootleg is styled after the colors of the AMD branding, mostly being red, and gray, and large red motorcycles.
Changes from Windows 8.1
- Setup window graphics have been changed slightly
- The setup background has been changed. The OS title in the branding at the top right is mislabeled as "Windows 8.1 NVIDIA Evolution", which suggests this bootleg may be an alternate version of NVIDIA Evolution
- The setup routine is modified slightly. It now has 10 stages, and the 7th stage comes after the OOBE portion
- New themes and wallpapers
- New desktop context menu entries
- The Explorer bar is at the top instead of the bottom
- Almost all of the default tiles have been removed from the Start screen
- All of the Windows 7 wallpapers are present in the Pictures directory
