Windows Light XP 2008 is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created by Captain Majid of Mz-Files. It released on March 7, 2008, and was added to the archive on December 9, 2021.

Description

The bootleg is a stripped down Windows XP SP2 ISO with RyanVM Update Pack 2.2.1 integrated. It comes with its own boot selector, which comes with several utilities, most of them being in DOS, and of course the actual bootleg itself. It has had some programs, games, themes, wallpapers and updates added.

The ISO was made using nLite.

New boot screen, with a semi-transparent shadow added to the Windows XP text. The kernel filename is listed as "ntkrnlpa.exe" by default. This is due to Light XP's feature of allowing you to select different kernels.

The "Question" event is assigned to a knocking sound effectx
