Windows XP OSX Leopard is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition, which was created by WarezDemon. It released on June 24, 2009 and was added to the archive on December 31, 2023.

Description

This bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 version, themed to look like Mac OS X Leopard, with a dock (RocketDock 1.3.5), a modified icon pack and a few programs. Not much other than that. Some parts like the first stage of the setup and login screen are completely stock. The sounds are also not modified.

Changes from Windows XP SP2

  • The graphical portion of the setup has been completely changed. It no longer displays billboards, or the list of things to do, instead having a static image reading "Installing Leopard Please Wait...".
  • The boot screen has also been changed, now resembling Windows Vista.
  • 26 new wallpapers have been added.
  • Entirely new theme based on Mac OS X Leopard. It is
  • New icon set, based on Windows Vista
  • New programs added

Software

  • .NET Framework 1.1 SP1, 2.0, 3.0
  • Visual C++ Redistributable 2005, 2008
  • Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.6
  • MSXML 6.0 Parser
  • Safari 3.0.3
  • Styler 1.401
  • Windows Live Messenger 8.1

Notes

  • There is supposed to be a modified sysdm.cpl, however it is not copied because it is in the wrong folder ($OEM$\$$\Web, not $OEM$\$$\system32)
  • Many of the files are dated October 13-15, 2007, however the file !!!Read Me First!!!.txt on the installation media is dated June 24, 2009. It could be possible this OS was made in October 2007, however that is unlikely.
