It serves the exact same purpose as its predecessors. The only real difference is the updated Ubuntu version, and a different selection of software, otherwise it looks exactly identical to its predecessors~~. The UI would not get a makeover until YLMF OS 4.0. It is the most popular version of YLMF's OS lineup~~. This version is the last version to use the XP look, as [[YLMF OS 4.0]] and all future releases of [[StartOS 5.1\|StartOS]] (rebranding of YLMF OS) drop the look entirely in favor of a look similar to that of Windows Vista (in the former's case), and a completely different look in the latter's case. == Changes from Ubuntu 10.04 ==▼ * New boot screen ▲== Changes from ~~Ubuntu~~YLMF 10OS 1.040 == * New login screen wallpaper * The boot selector's background has been made a solid color * New default theme, and wallpaper.
