YLMF OS 4.0: Difference between revisions

The bootleg is a heavily modified Xiange Linux ISO. From this point on, this is where the OS started to take a completely different direction from [[YLMF OS 3.0|what was done before]]. This is the last release under the "YLMF OS" brand, after thisas the OS rebranded as "StartOS" afterwards, and completely abandoned the "XP-look"style entirely.interface However,in thefavor of a more Windows Vista-style look. The last version of StartOS would release sometime in 2013, and itno wouldn'tmore bereleases developedwould anycome moreout thanafter that, and after that, ''StartOS'' would nevereventually get another release againdiscontinued.

The OS has been completely redesigned to beclosely as close in looks toresemble Windows Vista as possible. It adds some new software and wallpapers. It comes with a new cursor scheme, which is just taken from Mac OS X. It comes with its own package manager ([[StartOS 5.1|and eventually its own app store]]), called <code>ypkg</code>.
