It is the last bootleg to have the Black Edition Team branding. Afterwards on September 21, 2008, the team got rebranded to Rockers International Team. Windows Royal Business Edition 2009 is the first bootleg to have the Rockers International Team branding, and Windows 7 Black Edition 2009 R1 is the first bootleg in the collection to also have the branding.
There is another (similarly titled) version of this bootleg, named Windows Vista Black Eternity 2009,, which is also lost. This also makes it especially difficult to find because there are two different bootlegs named both "Windows Vista Black Edition" and "Eternity" (it being this one) by the same person, making it hard to search. It had both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. This bootleg comes in 2 parts, like its sequel.

Trivia
* Fun fact: Did you know that this OS was one of the first candidates chosen for a potential new VM 0b0t snapshot based on Windows Vista, back in February of 2023? The tests were proven successful, but in order for the internet to properly work, the VLAN ID must be set to the correct value as the CollabNet infrastructure and the VMs hooked to it used to rely on VLANs during this time. VM 0b0t had its own special VLAN, with slightly more lenient internet restrictions. But as Windows Vista does not support VLAN IDs, a solution had to be found. After a few minutes of brainstorming, a solution was found - you simply had to install Windows Server 2008 R1 drivers to make it work. Its server counterpart fully supported VLAN IDs. And as both of them used the same OS as a base, and because of that, the internet worked perfectly fine. There would eventually be a Vista-based VM 0b0t snapshot on the 21st revision. However, it didn't use this bootleg, instead it used Windows 2007.
