Bob Pony OS Beta 1 is a Windows bootleg edition created by [[Bob Pony]] released in 2016.
 
== Description ==
The mod is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO. There were multiple betas of this bootleg released, the other being [[Bob Pony OS Beta 2]] which is based on [[Windows 7]] instead of [[Windows XP]]. There was a third beta but was never released. This bootleg is broken due to LogonUI being broken and .NET not being slipstreamed in and having to be manually installed from Safe Mode.
 
== Changes from Windows XP ==
* Everything is now completely broken. From NTLDR to NTOSKRNL.
* Bob Pony branding has been added
* A new .NET shell
* A Zune theme is included, which will immediately fail upon attempting to copy
 
== Notes ==
* The Zune theme will fail to copy, ignore it, it won't affect the install.
* The bootleg is extremely hard to get working. Since the logonui is broken, you can't use it normally, you have to boot into safe mode. The shell is also .NET based, and since RunOnce is never parsed in safe mode (the NET framework is not part of the OS, it is automatically installed), you will have to manually install .NET framework to get everything working.
